how it works

Three steps. Zero servers.

No account to create with us. No inbox to upload. Everything happens between your Mac and your email provider.

Connect your inbox

Sign in with Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo. OAuth happens in your own browser, and the read-access tokens are stored only on your Mac — never on a server.

Scan for subscriptions

It reads message headers and bodies in memory, groups them by sender, and finds the real unsubscribe path for each. Nothing is uploaded. Attachments are never touched.

Unsubscribe for real

Select senders and go. We pick the right method for each, then label and archive the mail so your inbox actually empties.

features

Everything you need to win your inbox back

Built for people who are done with newsletters they never signed up for.

Bulk unsubscribe

Tick a hundred senders, hit one button, and walk away. Unsubscribe Me works through them all at once.

Violation tracking

If a sender emails you after you unsubscribed, they get flagged. You'll know exactly who broke their promise.

Subscription stats

See volume by month, your worst offenders, send frequency, and how much cleaner your inbox is getting.

Multi-account

Connect Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, and Yahoo side by side. Clean every inbox from one place.

Scheduled cleanup

Flag senders for a rolling cleanup and let Unsubscribe Me clear them on a schedule you set.

Streaks & confetti

Unsubscribing should feel good. Build streaks, unlock achievements, and watch the confetti fly.

Themes & dark mode

Make it yours with multiple themes, including a deep dark mode that's easy on late-night inbox sessions.

Keyboard shortcuts

Power through your list without touching the mouse. Built for people who live at the keyboard.

Auto label & archive

Cleared senders get an "unsubscribed-by-me" label, are archived out of your inbox, and marked read — automatically.

the whole point

Never hand a company you've never met the keys to your inbox.

Most "unsubscribe" services ask you to grant a cloud server full, standing access to your email. That server can read everything — forever. Unsubscribe Me runs entirely on your computer. There's no server to trust, because there isn't one.

stays on your Mac

What never leaves your device

  • Your email content and metadata
  • Parsed unsubscribe links
  • Sign-in tokens (OAuth)
  • Subscription history & statuses
  • Confirmation screenshots
  • The local database itself
what cloud services do

The model we refuse

  • Upload your inbox to their servers
  • Keep standing access to read future mail
  • "Analyze" or sell what they find
  • Ask you to trust a company you can't audit
  • Turn one breach into your whole inbox exposed

The only four things that ever leave your device

And every one is an action you took, sent to a destination you chose. Nothing comes to us — we have no servers to send it to.

1 OAuth sign-in with your provider 2 Reads & edits to your own mailbox, via the official API 3 The unsubscribe request you clicked 4 The opt-out email you chose to send

us vs. them

It actually unsubscribes. They just hide the mail.

Other tools quietly create a filter and delete future emails — the sender keeps mailing into the void, and a cloud company keeps reading your inbox.

questions

Frequently asked

Does Unsubscribe Me read my email in the cloud?
No. There is no cloud. The app runs entirely on your own computer. Your email content, metadata, sign-in tokens, and history never leave your device. See the full privacy promise.
How is this different from other unsubscribe services?
Most services just create a filter and delete future mail while keeping standing cloud access to your inbox. Unsubscribe Me sends a real opt-out through the sender's own unsubscribe method — and keeps everything on your machine.
Which email providers are supported?
Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, and Yahoo Mail. You can connect several accounts at once.
Is my data sold or used to train AI?
Never. There's no analytics, no telemetry, and no AI or machine learning anywhere in the app. Unsubscribe detection is fully deterministic.
What happens if a sender ignores my unsubscribe?
Violation tracking automatically flags any sender that emails you after a confirmed unsubscribe, so you can see who didn't honor it.
Is it free, and what platforms are supported?
It's free during early access. macOS 11+ is available now (signed and notarized by Apple); Windows is coming soon.
